She was no longer on the sidelines of life. She was part of it.
That moment became a symbol. Easton founded Unlimited Tomorrow, bringing his prosthetics to the world. Obama invited him to the White House. NASA opened its doors to him. But the most important recognition was in the eyes of the people wearing those arms and regaining their freedom.
